and I could be studying for my job which begins again tomorrow
Whoever is at the party on Grant st. right now near Alston, go outside and listen to the slightly inebriated conversations. Sadly, not only do the conversations remind me of a sort of O.C. of Berkeley but they consistently show the stupidity of drunks and the fascination that they truly can hold for the sober person. During the last ten minutes, I have heard the slightly drunk girl talk to this guy about how she never goes to parties which somehow relates to how people should be higher beings. Then, the guy that she is talking to finds out that she is with a "friend" and he proceeds to question her on the relationship with this friend who he hopes is gay because he wishes to hook up with her by the end of the night. Then, there is the group of guys coming together for a smoke and in the process bond over their mutual past area of existence i.e. SOCAL. A typical lonely Thursday night in Berkeley whereby my entertainment does not come from the television or from my books but from eavesdropping on the party next door. ::shrugs:: Eh, I got drunk last night, so the least I can do is chill at home for one night.
